So, my older brother thinks he doesn't like Doctor Who. He hasn't seen a single episode yet though, and I'm trying to decide which one I should start him with when I get home. I'm afraid if I start with S1E1 he might be put off a bit, because it isn't the best. I was thinking either Blink or The Christmas Invasion. Any ideas?

Oh, that’s a tricky one! If he’s already hesitant then it has to be perfect! The funny thing is - my suggestions would have been Blink or the christmas invasion! I showed Blink to my own brother and he loved it, and since it has nothing to do with the actual storyline, you can watch it and than start from the beginning. :) And The christmas invasion is one of my favourite episodes, it’s easygoing, funny but also exciting. If I had to give another suggestion„ that’d be.. hm.. well, I love the impossible planet and the satan pit, brilliant episodes, so. Either Blink, The christmas invasion or the impossible planet/the satan pit. Then once he’s obsessed, start from the beginning. 

UPDATE: the runaway bride!! how could I forget!! Brilliant episode!
